Overview
The iPhone 4 battery will continue to hold less charge over time until you need to replace it. You can easily hire a company to replace it or you can do it yourself. Here we explain how to do it yourself.
Step 1 - Buy Replacement Battery
Buy a replacement battery from an online store such as eBay. Be sure to get the model that matches your phone.

Step 2 - Unscrew Screws
Unscrew the two screws on the bottom of the iPhone. Make sure your iPhone is turned off.

Step 4 - Unscrew Screws
Unscrew the screws connecting the battery to the iPhone.

Step 5 - Remove Old Battery
Remove the old battery by pulling on the plastic tab. Replace it with the new battery.
