2 - Gracefully Exit or Mute Group Conversations

Once you get tired of the alerts from the conversations leave at anytime.  Go to Details and then tap "Leave this Conversation". To mute group conversations on a per-thread basis (the rest of your messages will continue generating normal notifications) go to Details and then turn the 'Do Not Disturb' as below.
