Overview

Adding security requires some initial investment in time and effort but is trivial compared to the effort it takes to recover after your stuff is taken.  Here are some tips.  Before you start make sure you have installed the Apple Security Updates.

Method 1 - Use a Password Manager

Using a Password Manager, such as LastPass, to remember passwords.  Through an app like this all passwords are encrypted and managed centrally through their website allowing you control even if your device is stolen.

Method 3 - Use Two- Step Verification

Combining two different security features like using a password and a biometric login system helps protect your device.

Method 4 - Using a Strong Passcode or Password

Use alphanumeric passwords that cannot be guessed easily.  This makes it difficult for people to login.  Don’t use obvious passcodes like 0000.
