Overview

The iPhone Maps app is a built in app offered by Apple (not Google Maps) that offers cool features not found on other mapping apps. You can find your current location, find a person, place, or thing.  Also check out places from four different views and use Contacts within your Maps app to locate someone's location.

1 - Find your Current Location

Tap the Maps icon and then tap the show current location button, where a small gray arrowhead is shown.  See below.
